The person behind the edits

Hi, I'm Kashika.
Applicant turned editor.

My application journey took me to UC Berkeley as a Regents’ & Chancellor’s Scholar. Now, as a third-year medical student, I help college applicants turn their experiences into essays with a clear point of view.

Over two years and 270+ application essays written and edited as a trained admissions advisor, I've developed an approach that pairs big-picture strategy with specific, line-by-line guidance. You'll know what to revise and why it matters.

My approach

A clear plan for your next draft.

Get specific suggestions for what to change, why it matters, and how to make the revision. From the opening line to the final takeaway, every edit has a purpose.

Before we start

The details, upfront.

What does editing include?

Feedback on structure, clarity, tone, and storytelling, plus line-by-line comments with specific suggestions for improvement. This is an editing and refinement service, not full essay writing. A completed draft is required before editing begins.

How long does each round take?

Standard turnaround is 48–72 hours per round of edits, starting upon receiving the essay from the student. Each revision round follows the same timeline. A 24-hour rush option is available for an additional $30 per essay.

How do payment and refunds work?

Payment is made via Zelle. After your service request is reviewed, you will receive the confirmed total and Zelle payment details. Full payment is required before editing begins. All sales are final once editing has started.

How do the packages work?

Select any combination of individual application essay editing, scholarship essay editing, the four-essay UC PIQ package, and activities section editing. Each service can be selected once per order, with one round, three rounds, or up to five rounds of edits chosen separately for each service.

Where your information goes

This website is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites. Form submissions are sent over HTTPS to Web3Forms, which processes them and sends them to Kashika’s email inbox. Web3Forms, the email provider, OpenAI, and their service providers may process information needed for delivery, hosting, security, and abuse prevention, including technical data such as IP addresses. Providers may process data in different countries. Their own terms and privacy policies apply: Web3Forms privacy policy and OpenAI privacy policy. Service providers have their own retention policies. Web3Forms states that submission data may be retained for up to three years, subject to plan settings and earlier deletion. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information using the form below or by replying to an email from Kashika. Some records may need to be retained where required by law. You can revoke access to linked documents through your document provider at any time.

Marketing, tracking, and younger visitors

Aretio does not sell your form submissions or use them for marketing without a separate opt-in. The site code does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies; hosting and delivery providers may use necessary security technologies. This service is intended for college applicants and their parents or guardians, not children under 13 or under the applicable age of digital consent.
